Hi, I’m on board again. Last week I showed you a video from Quimby, a band I really love. This week I will tell you why I love them so much, I will tell you a sip of story (because it was the title of their first album), and show a little piece of Hungary.
When I’m listening to music I always try to find a feeling, a spirit to get closer to a band I’m listening to. That’s why I’m not going to write about what is the favourite color of the band or who is the most handsome Quimbymember, this „Mom! I’m totally in love with Robbie Williams from the Take That”-style is so not me, and i’m not going to enumerate the albums in chronological order either. Let me explain it in an other way.

Ok, I know that I was a little sentimental (and to be honest there are great Quimby songs to party), but I really love the feeling this song can give me. Just the music, you don’t need to understand what they’re singing about. And in that case, I have a perfect match for you :).
If you arrive to Hungary in these cloudy autumn-days, the perfect thing to do in the evenings is to sit into a pub, have some hot tea with rum (ok, other drinks are allowed) and listen to Quimby. In spite of their nine albums (two of them were in english) I think the word „pubband” is still perfectly explain them.
I think the Quimby is one more reason for you to come to Hungary, and every week I will tell you an other one:)
