I've promised to show you some Hungarian churches. Most of the
churches in Hungary are Catholic ones.)) One of which is in a very
about. Because 'rác' means 'Serbian' in Hungarian. Serbs had moved in
during the 12th century to escape from the Turks who had occupied
their country. They build their habitats by themselves and, it
certainly included the churches. There is this tiny Gothic orthodox
church which was kept in this small town since the 14th century.

small town called Ráckeve near Budapest . Those of you who knows the
Hungarian language will understand at once what this small town isabout. Because 'rác' means 'Serbian' in Hungarian. Serbs had moved in
during the 12th century to escape from the Turks who had occupied
their country. They build their habitats by themselves and, it

At times, we name something: "the pearl". This is precisely what this
church is!
Inside, it's all covered by frescos. There is no one centimeter of the
walls which would be without any figure painted on it. I can't say
that there were any frescos which were outstanding by its inner
concept plan, but they were definitely miracles to me.
I usually do not like churches. But, this church is one which I
wouldn't want to leave. There is very positive energy from all above
it. And not only in the church, but also on the territory around it.
It's already inoperative since a long time ago, the prayer service
happens only one time in a year at some big holiday (I don't remember
which holiday exactly). Now it works as a museum. I can't visit it as
often as I like to, but it is a must or better to say a recommendation
for you to take a look!!!!

It is not only this church which I wanted to tell you ...:) Because
there is also a Catholic church within this small town - a Catholic
Hungarian church.
This church is totally is painted by Patay László. He is a Hungarian
artist and he painted it in 1994.

I had been thinking for a while, how is it possible to describe these
frescos. Alive. Perhaps, it was the first time in my life, I saw the
flying and lively images. Here is an interesting fact: when the artist
worked with his painting, the church has been closed for the prayer
services. And the services were conducted, (oh, yeah... I guess it
will be impossible with ours Russian priests..:) but yes, yes, the
services were in the small orthodox Serbian church which I've
mentioned above. And in gratitude for this, this small orthodox church
was embodied on one of the frescos in the Catholic temple.
Unfortunately, there was almost no opportunity to make a photo. It was
a little darkness in the church. As usual. it is opened as a museum,
but on the day I visited it, it was closed, and only after the prayer
service was it possible for me to have a glimpse so quickly. I don't
even have time to make a general view around it. Here you can see how
it looked from apart:

But it's only a small part of it. And the frescos - here they are.
What a remarkable artist!!
